Time traveling consciously is a mammoth deal. Whirling thru space and time with effort. It is five months count ‘em one tow threeeefourfive, until Christmas, (or was yesterday?) not six months as predicted by myself. We would by my accounting be in January. SO get yer shopping on track. Most of the time, time in my life is only important, and it is in reality most important at boot camp. There are fast classes, and slow where at the half way some one shouts, what time is it.!! Hope fades fast at that point.
Yesterday we were in the shade, amongst the picnickers eating pizza watching the puppy’s at school, play. Or learn as the case maybe. This was the same class that Lucy graduated from 11 years ago. She tried very hard to understand what I was asking, and this was after having the dog behaviorist come to the house to teach me better dog. And we learned. I remember her climbing in to the car, after the class, and remember she was a young dog, and collapsing in the back seat. I did the same thing after boot camp, many years.
She could leap into that seat, now we break it up into increments, with hesitation at the first lunge, into the passenger foot well. Then slowly with the aide of a cookie, that was instituted way back in the dark ages to lure her into the car as she was having tooo much fun and did not want to come home. Now the old girl knows she will return, to the park, the ducks, the beach for fun in the sun, or rain or snow.
After her evening walk, she came home and got into a dog fight. Two dogs fighting. The yelling and scrambling that went on, that was me. Anyway one old girl was hurt, or at least yelping and it was not Lucy. She was protecting her turf. She was not fond of the pug that lived there, and has been replaced by an old lab.
Today the heat and humidity, are up and about. And it is close. The universe spun it magic, and off we went again, from near empty, my cousin the vet here to stay, to full in a matter of minutes. So bread pudding in the oven, and no clue really what else is to go on the table. Onwards! Moi ― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring
