No, nononon, tall narratives, nope not a joke at all, the temperatures are to soar to 15 degrees, It is 11 at the instant, so it could break historical accounts as it climbs, which these days does not seem so unusual, as we break them with regularity these days. A polar vortex taking us in the equal and opposite direction later this week. The sun on the other hand is not summoned today, or going to the weather authorities and pundits. We have showers in the forecast. That will wash away the snow. I left Lucy out in it last night as it could be a while before she sees it another time. But up you may familiar terms with the jolts of life and directions taken that one had never thought of let alone, take. We are peering at the new month with not only spring in our steps. Thus and so, we officially move into the fifth season of the year. The Mud Interlude, with muck and mire thrown in for good measure.
I have to tender apologies, as at the moment I have to say I may have jinxed it, I laundered my winter veneer. My justification, is it was a brown beige, instead of a white beige. It was very easy to get the lining out of it, yes two fast and swift movements is all it took. The problem becomes putting it back. Always difficult getting the genie back in the bottle. I have months to figure out the zippers for reattachment. We may be doomed to this wishy washy winter for weeks yet.
There I was thinking nothing on the agenda, always fatal. NO joking again, I in the early morning while whirling around websites to gain insights and watch cats, acknowledged a reservation request for a midnight arrival. Thus I went into a outbreak, of concentrated effort, cleaning, which I have to say needed to be done. I was just final motions of swiping, this that and the other thing, the lunch guests, whom I had asked over spontaneously and on impulse, the night before. Arrived a half hour prematurely. Throwing the central vac into where it belongs, and in yet another swift motion the soup on the stove. There I was, at a very familiar place, the summer pace, my dear and gentle readers may hark back to. Scarcely could listen, as the guest brought me up to date, and I rambled thru in my head, just all what needed to be done. Then did it, the dog walking and grocery store.
I was publicly and officially healthy given the green light by both my gp, and eyeball doc BUT the thing that had assured my mential health, which at times is precarious, you have to admit. It was reassured by running into a woman walking a dog, whom, who? Was working at the little hotel on the Main street, as opposed to the 4 big ones. Aside from a hockey tournament in town, the big little city, is undisturbed. That, I can tell you is a relief to be made aware of the facts, thus I can stop pretty much banging my head against walls.
OFF I went to bed, waking and waiting for the guest. Who, whom? was from Calgary, arriving from Boston, here for a dental conference, on sleep apnea. I did show him that I had teeth, and he promised to give me a check up when he got back. Both I think are in jeprody as he is still slumbering I have to say at the moment will not make his class. He did not want breakfast, thus the cream acquired in a rush, may not be needed.“Blessed are they who hold lively conversations with the helplessly mute, for they shall be called dentists.”
