I have come to value arms. The hugging kind. They come in hand-y, if you pardon the pun. Thru out the day, I came to find out that in fact they are very useful in keeping one, upright, and balanced, physically, if not mentally, impressive. I never gave them much thought, but there I was banging up against what they do as I learched thru the day. I have on no account, had the OUTSIDE of my arms ache.
The day was sunny and bright. Given the lack of guests, I push and prodded as I said the computer and came to the fact, I have with great consumption of time, stayed perfectly still, but now have a new new way of doing things. The new reservation system, minus my website system, as the Xotila system in France that does all the amalgamating all the systems, and am hooked up with to do what it says it supposed to do. I am STILL after all this huffing and puffing, having to manually insert reservations’ and continue my paper diary. I also had a telephone directory delivered to my door. SO with all the speed of a computer, and being able to swirl money thru the internet, we still use cheques. The old technology still lingers, like a telephone. I use it frequently.
Kindheartedness I found does not go out of fashion either. My boot camp leader, found she had clothes that may fit, the next Prime Minister of Canada, my 16 year old Syrian refugee. She also went thru her closet for clothes for girls, there were shoes that fit. Now I say if the shoe fits, wear it. The daughter, and the middle son returned the gesture, with a falafel. Now there is an adage that one cannot return a plate, pot or container empty. I am thinking of going non caloric, say a little fruit cut up.
OFF we went, Lucy and I into the day, and the old girl, went swimming old girl style, but not once but twice. Smelly and dirty she was on the look out for the beaver that she was sure was there. We also passed a settling pond, with two Canadian geese, house hunting.
SO the big birthday, others have jumped out of planes. I don’t think I can do that. I have decided to swing thru the trees, and given it popularity of the sport of zip lining I have to make a reservation with them. They opened yesterday according to the website, and I asked my boot camp friends to come, bring cake and join me in a celebration. You my dear and gentle readers can too. For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone. Audrey Hepburn and MOI
