IT RAINED! Just enough, thru the dark. Water bombers, which were not bombing water, but RED flame retardant, went back up north, Home and hope restored. We have been assured the flames extinguished because of the rain. The plants, trees and grass have perked up, and we are back to, possibleness of precipitation tonight. The wetness in the air leading up to the downfall, is departed.
Now onto other pressing issues of the kiwi, laundry, and cleaning. The kiwi was placed with skin, into the fruit salad, you will be pleased to know. However the colour of said salad, was purple embellished with green highlites. There were also apricots lost in the same overtiring colour. Lovely. I had fresh cherries in the mix. I was going so fast with the laundry I forgot to add water, the laundry detergent, 100 load size added quickly. Then we started again. Clean, clean, clean, enough said on that.
The customers all came down, because of the coolness of the air and slept well, they claimed with windows open. This of course made them conscious of the cargo trains thunderous nearby, the ambulances, firetrucks, and police, bellowing thru the night. Going where we do not know.
Slow start to the day, as the father of the children climbed on board one of the trains and went back to whence he came. The four year old has learned how to ride a neon green bike that comes up to below my knew while she was here, as her hometown, she lives in the city center. She claimed last night she would cry thru the night, but slept well too, all ensconced in the attic.
First out the door early, a guest with an IE instead of a Y, with the identical name as the dog, left for la belle province. A theater educator ( I missed my calling) and his OT leave to visit a niece in Halifax.
Who cares about the clouds when we’re together? Just sing a song and bring the sunny weather.
