The lack of diatribes, for which I am make an apologies for, is, apparently illustrating that I am going at a velocity. You may have wondered just what has been going on.

Moi aussi, and as well. The bed and breakfast has gone from zero to 60 or inn this case, mostly holding steady at 8- 10 people per night, in minutes. Another first, had no guests on tap, and within 15 minutes, full. A house full of people who never stay in a bed and breakfast, and wanted a hotel. But I digress.

We have had guests from here, there, over hill, over dale, on or after the left, beginning at the right, up, down over and out.

Another first, we have had “no shows” write reviews. We have had people not stay and write reviews. We discovered that the search engines have click appraisals. The search engine how prompt I am to respond to these urgent assessments. I discovered this unintentionally, and inadvertently while hunting down a time line of arrival for a guest.

We have upgraded the computer to blistering hot like the weather. The List of Life ready and prepared fresh daily, only because we cannot remember anything anymore. Crossing off has now become a satisfaction, (but much like the Roiling stones, I can’t get any.) Therefore and subsequently we are back at it, for the tourism season, simply to have another thing put on the list of life.

The NEW and IMPROVED laundry stand completed. ! An engineering marvel and it only took money. It has three steps and is up and operational, or should say I am. For that we moved mountains of earth to the other side of the garden. (I am proud to say, before the rain fell too!)The previous patio in place, waiting for demolition, the upside is I don‘t have to paint that this summer. Rocks have not been collected to put down to make a patio to replace it. I will have to seed and sod when it done, so there is no hurry. My luck with gardening up there with winning the lotto, which tickets purchased and supplications made for Devine intervention on that front. Recycling on the second T day of the week observed rigidly and religiously. Prayers, if a sentence can be stung together in either official language of the Nation, are down to “HELP!” and “thank you.”

We have made gallons of French toast batter, we have cleaned, laundry to the point the sheets are see thru. We have paid bills. We have purchased tickets to “Menopause the Musical.” We are trying for Dr. Jane Goodall for October. The box office for that only opening at 1 throwing off my schedule.

We have maintained to the best of our ability boot camp. The only time off coming about half way thru, stopping to stare at the sky, and the clouds usually when attempting crunches or leg lifts. We have walked Lucy, she has had her nails done, been petted, cosseted and otherwise right on track for an old girl, if only I could say the same. “”Become slower in your journey through life. Practice yoga and meditation if you suffer from ‘hurry sickness.’ Become more introspective by visiting quiet places such as churches, museums, mountains and lakes.
