“Blue skies, nothing but blue skies from now on“…sing it.
The daily whirl of the websites, demonstrated this morning, while the caffeine went to work, that snow still is in fact falling hard, in another country, NOT HERE not even close, but deep in the south. At this juncture, we are wintry, -25 with the winds chill this morning, but snow less. Then the local climatologist is saying that the northern tip of another province on Sunday will get a bit 10 cm. which when speaking Canadian, is almost not noteworthy. Dog walkers’ out in force in the noon day sun.
Boot camp update: The little bit of a leader comes in, injured, moving her right wing and neck proved difficult. She claimed all she was doing was rolling around, to get out of bed. Nothing exciting. I personally reflect, the injury was from leading us into battle at boot camp, having experienced a few aches and pains over the course. Nevertheless, it did not stop her from teaming us up, to clean a full whiteboard. It was starling to see written 500 of each. The finale, a 1000 skips. We got the red pen to write down just how high we could count. Thus three of us on team scarlet, lunged, pushed UP, at least three different arm exercises with weights, squats, and alternatives to burpees on the bosus. The list seemed endless. I volunteered to clean up the skipping category. I skipped my personal best yet again, and close to it several times, and have turned into a skipping machine
The LOB program has taken a turn, with one of my team mates in fact, if she wins in her weight category, that is to say she loses the most, her beloved also in the labor off bulk program wins, he gets a recliner, she gets a puppy. HOOOOOOOOOOOOw I ask you do you want to win that challenge. ???
There are telephone calls are dribbling in, for quarters for tourists for the summer time. The 250th reunion people were informed that 10,000 of them would be meeting 5,000 witnesses. Neither team bothered to check just what was going on in the big little city when they were planning. Very exhilarating was a call from a bride, getting married in a park near here. She, hankering after rooms for the same time as the antique car show. The house, the whole house for a week, while the biggest car show in Canada rolled into town. And another gentleman from area code 514 wanting just a single room for a month in February. ALL thinking they needed to be bargain basement priced. None of course wanting to pay the piper. That would be moi. Thus creeping back into the frenzy that is familiar to me but early days yet. It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop. Confucius & Moi
