What has been going on inn this the neck of the woods? I am here to report that . Tempus fugus, still I don’t seem to get much accomplished, or maybe I do. The one consistent thing is that time flies as per usual standard policy of the bed and breakfast.

We are currently in the depths of the summer, with trips to the beach complete with umbrellas of another sort on the agenda. Suited up and sunscreen with various UV protection, slathered, incompletely as one discovered sunburn in zebra stripes, around corners and in places one cannot reach prior to embarking to the sand, surf, black flies and jellyfish.

Lucy is dandy. Most excellent in fact. Recently after administering her amino acids for something like 30 months I read the box how to administer them. She receives daily, should have been nightly. Just imagine if I had been doing it appropriately. We have been for brief swims, nothing like days of yore, however we are still dog paddling along. She also was up to her old tricks, not wanting to get in the car when the time came, and if she had been younger I would still be chasing her around the fields of lupins beside the beach.

I had a flat tire, that seems to have been a direct result of the renovations done. Found more wallpaper that needs replacing as well. Screw dropped in the driveway. “Chilly” the mechanic exclaimed about the of sand there was in there, as the well was vacuumed, where the little tire sit, and not much more. Another chore that will wait patiently I am sure for this years accumulations of grit and sand.

Car show, has driven thru the city and is over for another year. The city’s website for accommodations such as mine, directs people to restaurants in the one of five hotels at the end of the street. The gardening scheduled for the spring is still not done, however we did throw rose fertilizer on the ground and left it there, and the roses complied with many and massive blooms front and back. Daily dehumidifier water thrown on them which they seem to enjoy. Many meals of French Toast have been served as we are up and at it again following the flood.

The neighborhood is still adjusting to the three bag system of garbage disposal.

My Syrian neighbors moved as the house they lived in was sold. I have yet to go and find them. They have advanced to level 7 in English classes.

We have ordered several boxes of business cards, as it seems if you order 5698 you save money. The furnace gets cleaned today, inspired by a check mark off the list of life.
