Umbrellas and sunscreen at the ready for today. We be capable of and in all probability will go either way. Record, stumpy temperatures’ over the weekend and rain over the weekend past, lead to record lows in numbers at a concert north of the city, called Evolve. Participation usually 5000 souls down to 2000. This year, they had shower in more ways than one they claim. The street festival here with the chill and the drizzle, drive the cars and participants’ away. The upside is that the grass maybe growing where I seeded. Hard to tell.
House was sparkling with the help of some friends. Rearranging furniture for Sunday afternoon, again with a little (read a lot) of help from other friends. Then onto checking the reservation systems.
As personages were unable to get inn or out. The door that got broken got fixed, the handle pulled off in its entry an emergency call went to repair guy.
Smiling and agitated~ door fixed, laundry done and away, light bulbs and batteries changed, house on the first floor vacuumed, junk put away that was dragged out while rearranging
Furniture, placed in new places. Had to find glue that had been put carefully away and dried to perfection. Then trying to glue one of the pictures back together, that had needed it for a while, I had to admit, BUT was not in the carnage of the lamps over the weekend, three went down in one day. The door bell rings the dog has taken to barking when that happens, and she has never done that before in the 10 or is 11 years I have had here. Smiling manically I answer it, Two young men, from the telephone company selling door to door. (back to the future?) I emailed my computer guy, to see if my computer would explode if I upgraded to fiber op and he said go go go. The price, (No brainier )less than current, including tax OFF we go into the new age. …………..
Lucy good, took for short walk, and she came straight back to the car, so it’s all fine. We rest along the way now in the shade of a tree or a handy building.
AWAY we go again, for yet another day of fun and adventure. Inn walked a couple from Ontario. They claimed they had, 7 children between them. She declared to have only birthed three. Late start to the days, as they are going on a tour of the rocks.
As the sparkling clean and furniture moving, took a bit out of moi, I did not attend boot camp, but instead went to see the “secret lives of pets” an animated cartoon, just perfect for eating frozen yogurt and vegging. BUT just before, some guests from Denmark arrived and were ensconced.
