This Saturday, that would be tomorrow, if you are around the big little city, Moncton, there will be scrambling, screaming and the like. If you would like to participate, to celebrate, a little early, my natal day. Invite to all, to attend at Centennial Park, Treego o’clock. Come one come all. (Arrival requirements of 10 minutes early, cash and of five feet in height.)

Was going to wear my synthetic tiara, complete false red rhinestonesā€˜, except it does give me such a headache. ( this is in honour of 5 sisters from Sweden who on 75th birthday met and celebrated with tiaras and chocolate for breakfast at my dining room table.) The plastic does not encompass this head of mine. (I seem to have inherited the humour in the family, as well as the magnificence, so be it) So the dress code will be, sneakers, pony tails and water bottles. This is in-between cloud cover and coldness. The local weather has been hit with the tropical storm Collin. One thinks of tropical as warm, not by the time it wends its way thru way up the Atlantic coast however. We have had and will continue to have cloudy with showers. Hurray, cold, wet and tired.

This was inspired, not only by being in the best shape I have ever been in, due to attendance and participation in boot camp, but by a friend. I thought that SAME night ordering up a ballroom at a local hotel to celebrate her day. She too and inn addition is escalating in age and wisdom. We may possibly speak to and about her. Thus beauty of her heart, prettiness, humour and wit, to say nothing of her mind will and can be mentioned. I had randomly picked a weekend day, after a warrior class. Saturday, thinking not having had enough tea, BUT she kindly informed MOI, that in fact the events were a week apart. Thank God,dess as it would have been embarrassing to fall on my face in front of her, at her party. No I have a week to recover, and more social events to look forward to.

Thus I had some guests, after I have to say a very slow start to the spring. ( my bank thanks these guests profusely) They. who had learned the hard way that life is diminutive. They have educated themsleves, to seize the moments,( or in my case make some, as they come.) Delightful thoughtful fellow, whose wife departed 18 months after diagnoses, and his new girl from Regina. Both going into uncharted territory, of their hearts and Nova Scotia. I was so impressed, he held the chair for her, while she sat to eat a hearty lumber jack of a breakfast provided.

The night before, craziness, that long time readers will be accustomed to, cropped up . A water colour artist, arriving with her family, looking for dinner. I blew them kisses at 5 a.m, as they were up at four in the morning. Gluten free bread, fruit and cheese on the table, for them. The local quality inn, drove a man over, originally from Belgium, but living in Ottawa, as they overbooked. He was gone at 7, sans even coffee. A radio personality with whom I sat on the animal board, called for a place as well, his wife recovering in a ward, that left little room for sleep. He stayed for breakfast and discussions of the latest in American politics.

Now I sit typing, with tea, in solitude, and quiet, and did I mention? Inn, the company of Miss Lucy, old dog, still hunting badger holes and swimming. OFF we go for another day of fun and adventure. LOVE to you all, onwards!

“”Let us always meet each other with smile, for the smile is the beginning of love. Mother Teresa, Moi and Lucy P.
