Now with experience and lots of it, I pass the time waiting for something to fall down, off or around, to see what the next project will be. I never thought that it would what I fell thru that would make the next agenda item Painting thru out the bed and breakfast took 11 years to complete. ( now it needs it again, but I digress). Decorating is for the rich and famous, and a plan is its own too.. There inn lies if you will pardon the puns this mornings diatribe.
Decorating here, is wishful thinking, I think gee, I would like to, say paint a bathroom, and the plan is now, lo these many years on, is what plunges, plummets, or crashes down, and needs to get repaired. Imaging’s of up-to-the-minute, unsullied, contemporary no matter which or what there is a new list. The wishing, and the hoping now goes on the “lotto list.: “you know, if I win the lotto I will……………”
I never expected the list to be expanded by what I fell thru. Minutes after, I made a quick call to my go to guy, so I did not change my mind, stating “don’t know how, or how much but it has to depart.” The balcony on the first floor broke. IT HAS TO GO. How this is going to happen is going to be a good question.
The list of life, and lotto lists just got twisted. I was under the sink cleaning it out, rearranging the cleaning products and lots of them as we prepare for the summer of tourism . In the middle of all this with various products, and scrub brushes strewn out on the kitchen floor. The laundry finished up, and out I went in the middle of one chore to do another. Many of you call that multi tasking, so do I. To hang out the laundry to dry in the sunshine we were having. Up and at it I was. Yes indeed. Calling, planning, cleaning was on the list,.
Went thru the rotted wood before the wet sheets got put on the line. While I managed to haul myself out. The neighbors were home and did not see me take the plunge, (other women get married) they came out a few minutes later and asked me to feed their dog. Walking poor old Hazel is seemed was out of the question. Ice and Advil and finished what I started and the rest of the chores., they got done.
“Heal fast. You’ve overcome each and every hurdle. That’s life. Your place is wonderful. It is not just a bed and breakfast – it’s a home and a haven. But it wouldn’t hurt if the universe gave you a break! ” my response to my social media friend was yes, (s)he gave me a broken deck.
