Spurred on by fan mail recived this morning, one but not only faithful fan wrote to tell me
“your blog funnier and sharper, more clever  Linda…not so grammatically correct but far more ‘unexpected’ ..yes that is it ..unexpected haha ..these good too, don’t get me wrong   …but you at your most distracted are far more ‘unexpected’ ahhahalololololoololl “

I have not been committed to writing recently. I should be committed, but am far away from what was my reality. (This should come to my faithful readers as no surprise, I have not had one coherent idea.) I have to admit and this was confirmed with my recent sojourn in creative writing at Concordia, coherency not my strong point. I go it seems into the unexpected, confirmed by the quote above, going into the Ethernet where others are afraid to trod it seems.

Thus back in the saddle for a minute or two I will regal you with the recent events. The weekend before takeoff, there was great celebrations in my honour. Most of which I spent lost in the highways of construction while they waited lunch for me. It has come this, we are going gently into the night or not. Luncheons instead of great nights eating and drinking.

“What have you been doing?” cry the faithful readers of the long time blog.

Laying low, anywhere I can. I shoved off from the construction zone I called home for three months. The basement about to be again filled with men to finish the job. OFF we went from the Paris of Montreal and landed the same day in the mouth of the St Laurence. Here too lie about drinking King Cole, good Martime tea, to ponder, once again, just what is it I am going to do when I grow up

The recent return trip in La Tomato, was uneventful. The hardest part was getting all that was jammed, and brought up in the first place, back into the gunnels of a teeny tiny red car. You might remember that the trip started in La \Belle Province in the nadir of Winter As Lucy once chased her tail,I seem to be chasing this never ending season. It has been never been far behind or ahead of me. On the way home, we that would Lucy, my faithful companion and I stopped at the border of the provinces for a very quick run and hurried back to the comfort of an over full car to drive even further. The cold of winter not released to the warmth of Canadian spring. Proven when I attempted to open the wrapper on a tea bag was too cold to do so. I wept with gratitude when I wrapped my hands around the cup after assistance from the staff at the gas station.

I have been I have to admit, letting the thought bubbles lift to the heavens They have been punctuating my wee brain. Here and there they appear. If this then that thinking. The amount of energy committed to this effort I have to say minimal, as fatigue, my friend of the ages is still accompanying me where ever I go. But is lessening its grip.

It is a shock, to know that there are so many variables. Run away, stay put, here or there. Each has its appeal. The latter familiar, the former unknown. All will be revealed soon as appointments of various sorts lead the way or not. They too ambitious in their direction.

Various and sundry visions (NOT that kind) are coming to fruition. Messages arrive like “My son’s parents in law have a caper mobile” which sounds distinctly too big for me and the pup. Another option revealed, a seniors tenement complex that I had my eye on for years had not one, not two, not threeeeeeee but four apts coming up for rent. Their drawback is that they do not allow hounds on the premises.

Miss Lucy P continues to astonish, really and truly. Recently romping thru the snow, barking at the unknown, and generally a senior of some repute. I am following in her footsteps.

I know that as the weariness lifts, cognitive content like Spring are taking hold, unfolding. I was hoping that the first across the finish was the way to do it, but this too needs a bubble in my brain to ruminate about in.
