So to review, here we are yet again. Time was stable and steady, neither leaping has it has been in the previous month, nor gathering up energy to bound into spring like endeavorsā. No a mild winter month continuously. FURTHERMORE It is the end of a month. The new fresh one, coming straight on the heels, still a few days away. Additional benefit, a windfall, a further day dawning. It is a funny sort of ordinary day. Used to be a straight out holiday. Now it is wispy washy, work day, prized as one can at work choose to get a few things done while it is quiet, unless otherwise paid. Many take it off as the shoals are closed, but shopping arcades opening later.
Leftovers are packed up, and put away. Giant nosh up accomplished. Fridge impossible to close with all the fare not eaten in it. Whine glasses are hand washed pleased note. We settle into another vow of caloric restrictions. Should be straight sailing until there is a birthday, or special occasion a celebration of an event that took place half a century ago to weaken the tenacity all over again.
We scrutinize rain, sleet. driving to boot camp, was like with four flat tires. While in the gym, working with weights, and the TRX, whereby we dangle and need to pull ourselves up by the straps, the rain froze hard on the mirrors and windows making it difficult to drive home to huddle up. We have become expert at huddling, watching all this dismal and cold spring accumulate. Not waiting for warmer tempts to skate around the block once or twice to let Lucy P intrepid dog of Alma Street read the daily newspaper of scent.
Pleased to report, The ice age receded here in the big little city, slowly coming to a coming to a standstill. It has been and it is most difficult getting down the driveway. The accumulated precipitation, melted off the roof making a skating rink of it all. We slid to the garage, out the back door, with the intention of breaking up some of the ice by driving over it, and have been waiting for warmer weather. Please note we have not had skating all winter as it was too mild. The gray days covering the holiday weekend all forgotten when the sun came out. Then punched our way thru the snow and ice while walking. The recent intuitional time traveling adjustment leaving the sun lingering in the sky for longer at night. (how does that work btw?) The monotony and solitude of a quiet life stimulates the creative mind. Albert Einstein & moi
