MAY 13, 2016
As well as, its Friday the 13th where all things happen, not to the affirmative and optimistic either, I understand. AND and and Mercury with 6 other planets I have been told are out of whack until the end of this month. Strap on yer seatbelts.
I thought I was the height of restraint, really. (You my dear and gentle readers are rolling their eyes.) in my defenses, I did not do the whole thing, but only part, and not in sequential days. HOWEVER, in spite of all my protections, my lumbar region has other thoughts about that. I am and have a hip that hobbles me. WHAT, were you doing you ask, well, we were in the garden and cleaning it. Endless this existence. We will wait for the rain to fall tonight to sow grass seed on the bare patches of lawn that have appeared since the snow is gone. In the meantime the temp is to climb to 24~ with sun how bout them apples.
OUT AND ABOUT I was out doing the other beds around and outside of the bed and breakfast, cleaning them out and taking I mean huge green bag of dead leaves down the lane. Yesterday being the second T day of the week, was at-da, recycling. The day all must be gone, everything. I can’t move this morning. My back, right around my ample hips, is somehow in custody, seized up into one position. It wasn’t last night when I finished. I was pleased with myself. Rousing myself out of lethargy and lassitude, yes I did. You read that right.
Oh we whizzed and whirled thru the day, doing a lot and getting it done. Into the head wind we went. Yes we did. Crossing off many things on the list of life developed only that morning. Phone calls have been ignored by 3 professionals called to fix the bed. I can see one on social media inviting me to play games, but unable to get here.
Even Her Majesty got brushed to an inch of her life. She is of course three shades lighter. We made Sheppard’s pie and enough of it to keep Napoleons’ army on its feet. Invited a neighbor over for a short burst of repast and onward we went to plant seeds and watch the tulips go.
OFF we went to a sightseeing meeting to receive great inspiration from the province. NOT. The city counterparts were falling over themselves to get to the hotel operators and could barely in their hurry say hello to moi. The hospitality trade rasped and roared with out a great deal being accomplished and it will only cost me significantly more and additional money. And late we were as we forgot it was on. Met briefly others who run inns in the region, small accommodations’ like myself, who have all emigrated from Europe to live here. People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do. Isaac Asimov & Moi
