I should know at my age, and sensitivities, not to get my hair done at this time of year. Why !! my dear and gentle readers ask?? Adding to my allure, I have hives from the product. Beside, or on top of, or with, my annual hives as Spring is HERE!
That means the tulips’ are coming along, last year at this time not so much. But there was a curve ball weather wise, now in Canada is it May-urary. There were pictures to prove it, scattered thru out the social media world. The four letter word beginning with S, SNOW, in the northern part of the provinc. Might have here it the southern part if it has been a little tiny bit colder, and wetter here. In the big little city it was windy and cold. The meteorologist on the patriot radio station claims we can put our shovels away. WHY?
I keep putting my boots away, for some strange reason. WHY? yesterday mittens and boots were on while we were out, while the old girl hunted. “That dog won’t hunt” just does not apply to golden retriever extra ordinary. She aspired to go in one direction, and was not happy about going in another. There is nothing subtle about it either, she sits down until I come to my senses. Glancing at the correct way of going. More often than not, I “listen” to her, but yesterday that was not the case. I of course was in a hurry, as I am wont to do.
My last diatribe I expressed in copious details, how I cleaned beds and got things DONE! Well, my back scrunched up, from the efforts. I hobbled around as the boots were too big, did not fit thus handicapping me, (please note pre hives,the best was yet to come in my case) for a great deal of time. My boots that fit were not waterproof and cast aside while downsizing. Thus did not go to boot camp. Back somewhat improved from the restraint, but then stood a lot, as I volunteered for serving a dinner. That was a marathon arriving at 4pm, did not leave until 9. (they changed the serving time from 5:30 to 6;30 thus wandering around an extra hour) Sunday was cleaning then standing on hard cement with a dog who is not leash trained.
