This is a date that stands out. One can recall where one was, what you were doing for moi, most of the day. A commonplace day, the sun was shinning, bright in the atmosphere, until the planes slammed into the buildings. I believed that we were about to go into world war lll. It would come to pass that the house would quickly be full for three days. Five thousand people would land, and held in their planes for a long period of time until they could get customs in place, in out sleepy little burg. Camaraderie grew among total strangers watching TV, (that is when I had TV in here, now not so much we have extremist internet speed.) They all hurried to the airport, and poof they were gone.

The next guests thru had been biking, and knew nothing about the events. Returning to new normal, meant breathing deeply. There will be a new normal in tourism now, that the Harvey and Irma, the most destructive of couples have gone thru the south. Beaches will be gone, hotels and accouterments for a holiday as well. The Canadian dollar keeping us home. The Yanks, not moving for a while.

Last night Germans thru the house, and the breakfast table revolved around medicine, and what we knew of it. The couple from Cape Breton, who brouoght their own instant coffee, slipped off into the morning prior to the debates. I hurried thru the cookery and debating to make the beds while they sat at the table, as there was no help. She had been stung by a wasp and is off duty for a while. The whole house, cleaned, and away we went again.

Two gentlemen from England arrived, and the couple whose has the same name as my younger sister all very nicely. I had no idea when the next set of Germans who be thru, and ran off with Lucy in the car for a brisk drive to save $1. on eggs at the pharamacy. I almost managed to get to the govercy store for the rest of the needed items when the call came they were here.

I spun around in the parking lot and headed back home. Arriving, I got a loud earful about how they did not have “a mobile” and how difficult it was to make a phone call. I still do not know how they did it. She kept repeating this statement at the top of her lungs, outside the door. I told her, that I had no idea when she was arriving and went to get groceries for breakfast. It went down hill from there. Everything was wrong, parking, how long they were here for, TVs. I had not taken the towels up or the bin. I am not looking forward to the next few days. Of course they are here for a couple. He it appears does not speak English.

Then at 3:45 from area code 506 there was a call. I leaped up to answer, as I thought it was an emergency about cousins who lived thru we hope the storm in Florida. The eye of it. No, it was some person asking if this was a bed and breakfast, I hung up. Bad reviews be damned.
